Meat Market at South Wharf

As some of you may know,
I am really...

FOODY

and this city Melbourne I currently live in is well known as gastronomic capital in Australia!

so I am going to introduce some of my favorite restaurants at Melbourne in this blog;)

First restaurant is

Meat Market <3

This restaurant's specialty is meat!!! So you can eat really good quality Aussie Beef ;D

It is situated along Yarra River so it has quite nice water view :0

Look at these Meat =D
このお肉をご覧ください!

The other day I ate

Aussie Beef Carpaccio

Smoked Kangaroo! Woo it's really Australian :)

And I tried dry aged meat!!
いわゆる最近流行りの乾燥熟成肉を食べました♪

AND

This is not the end! Actually the quality of desserts at this shop is amazing!!!

Voila!!!

The shop information:

Ethiopian Jazz

Now multicultural festival is going on in Melbourne. As part of the festival, there was Ethiopian Jazz session today!

I don't know much about Jazz but when I was in Tokyo I had some chances to go to Jazz bar.

Today's Jazz session enables us to have chance to learn Ethiopian music culture♪

Africa has long music history and its music has a different taste from general Jazz.

And surprisingly, some of the characteristics of African music are similar to that in Japan!!!

Knowing other cultures is interesting :D

Melbourne Origami Monthly Meeting

Today I went to Melbourne Origami Meeting by Melbourne Origami Group :D

It’s been long time to make origami! More than 10 years I think !!! :O

I appreciate my culture but at the same time I am surprised that now Origami becomes so international!!!

These are what I made today ;D The design is from Japanese Origami artist, Tomoko Fuse 布施知子.

This is so mathematical design, right? :0

Actually Origami is profound!!! It can be so mathematical and so artistic!

My mathematician friend introduces me some Origami places, artists and organizations:

  • French Origami Artist Eric Joisel. Generally origami is so mathematical but his work is different!

I restart creating Origami from now :) It is so fun <3
And my friend will make Origami Youtube video and I might show up in his video :P hehe
He makes his own Origami design :0

P.S.
I miss Tokyo </3
I saw a dream of Tokyo's subway  today :'( lol
