Ku-kikan, Collingwood

昨日は、Fringe Festival の１つの　Ku-kikanという日本人とオーストラリア人のアーティストの展示を観に行きました♪

ついでに、展示が行われる、Collingwood周辺がヒッピーな街でオーガニック製品がいっぱいあるということで、shoppingも兼ねて行ってきました。

展示について、最初日本人の私でもKukikanって何？発音は日本語っぽいけど、そんな日本語無いよと？？？と疑問だったのですが、展示を観に行って、納得しました。「空気感」ですね！

というわけで、この展示のテーマは、場の空気がテーマとなっていました。

一番印象的だった写真は、感情など重さが無いものに重みをつけてみるということをテーマとした作品でした。

ランチは、シンガポールレストランにて食べました♪

オーガニックのお店では、バナナと紅茶を買いました☆

最近、お茶を飲むのにはまっています、特にアフタヌーンティー。

Collingwoodは、カフェがいっぱいあり、建物もアンティークな感じで、Cityとはまた違う雰囲気でした！

Yesterday, I went to the exhibition "Ku-kikan" which is part of Fringe Festival! The theme of this exhibition is atmosphere of a space.  Six Japanese and Australian artists translate this concept into their artworks.

This picture is the most impressive one and the theme is weighting  things which do not have weights such as emotion.

A hidden reason my friend Youjia and I went there is the place around the exhibition, Collingwood is kinda Hippie town and many organic shops!

I bought organic banana and teas! Recently having  a cup of tea has become one of my routine, especially afternoon tea :)

Collingwood has lots of cafés and ancient buildings which has a bit different atmosphere compared to the city!

今週の木曜日から、メルボルンでは、Fringe Festivalというアートフェスティバルが始まりました。

Visual Arts やDanceなど様々なコンテンツがあります！

私の友だちYoujiaが、大学でアートを専攻しているということで、情報を教えてくれて、２人でいくつかのイベントに行く計画を立てています♪ワクワク☆

Fringe Festival began from this Thursday here in Melbourne!

This festival is artistic one and we can see many kinds of art performance including comedy, visual arts and dance performance!

My friend Youjia, who majors Art in my university, told me about the information! And we're planning to go to some events! So excited! Although my major is not art but Environmental Studies, I'm really interested in Art & Design. (Actually I'm a bit thinking of studying art and design in France after retirement. )

Environmental Film Festival Melbourne, 5-13 September 2013

9/5~9/13に、メルボルンで、環境をテーマにした、映画祭がありました。

こういった類の映画のイベントは、日本では（おそらく）ないので、オーストラリアの良さの１つなのかなと思いました。そして、オーストラリアの人々の環境意識の高さは良いです。

さて、私は環境学を専攻していることもあり、この映画祭に9/7に行ってきました。

私は、The Fruits Hunterという映画を観ました。

この映画の内容は、

珍しく美味しいフルーツの収集がテーマなのですが、

フルーツの背景にある文化や歴史エコロジーなども扱うと同時に、モノカルチャーによる消費による脅威について問題意識を喚起させてくれるものとなっています。

In Japan, we do not have that kind of film festival. So I feel that this cultural aspect is one of the most attractive things in Melbourne. And also I like the fact that many Australians are green-minded. 

I chose to watch "The Fruit Hunters".

The theme of this movie is global journey in search of rare, delicious and forgotten fruits. Also this film deals with surrounding components of fruits such as culture, history and ecology which raises our awareness of the threat by an all-consuming monoculture.
